The Hauserei in Steeg combines 200 years of history with contemporary alpine style. The design concept is a loving homage to the region – minimalist, high-quality and well thought-out down to the last detail. Natural materials such as local wood, loden, linen and stone create a warm, honest atmosphere that radiates a sense of security without appearing overloaded.
Traditional craftsmanship meets modern aesthetics: old beams, historic details and selected vintage pieces tell of the past, while clean lines, subtle colors and stylish furnishings ensure timeless comfort.
A special aspect of our house is the deep connection to the herbal world of the Lech Valley. The healing power and beauty of local herbs is reflected not only in the small details of the furnishings – such as dried plants, herbal motifs or natural fragrances – but also in the overall lifestyle of the Hauserei.

Our aim is not to see and experience as much as possible, but to perceive and enjoy as consciously as possible. All at your own pace. Finally time for what’s important to you. Time for yourself. Time for your favorite people. Here you enjoy the happiness of being able to do everything and not having to do anything.

To feel like home and yet even more homely. So it’s not big for us, but it’s not small either. Only 27 rooms. And you can choose between our modern, casual suites in the new building or the traditional rooms in Tyrolean country house style in the main building. Each one is unique and individual. But all extremely homely and cozy. With local natural materials. Spruce. Silver fir. Ash. Swiss stone pine. Craftsmanship from the Lech Valley. The full power of nature in and around our house.
